JPG already threw information away. PNG does not “fix” halos: it only avoids another compression pass.
Use it for badly saved icons, mailed screenshots, plates on light grounds. The file usually grows.
Guest flow: leave the sheet, watch the plate, download. For history and Studio stock, open an account — after, not before.
